Malai Boti is a popular Pakistani dish known for its rich, creamy and flavorful taste. It is made with succulent pieces of chicken marinated in a mixture of cream, yogurt, spices, and herbs, and then grilled to perfection.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup cream
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Recipe:
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, cardamom powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Brush the chicken skewers with oil and place them on the grill. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove the chicken from the skewers and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with naan or rice, and enjoy the creamy and flavorful Malai Boti!
